The article presents the field of study German in Law and Economy leaded by the Institute of German Philology at the University of Opole. Based on the results of a survey, the paper illustrates students’ and alumni’ views and opinions about the study program. The presented feedback could serve as an instrument of evaluation and as a mean of a creative cooperation between academic centers and the local enterprises. Both of the sectors have an important task: to contribute to a sustainable development of the region.

It is commonly agreed that the plural -s has become a part of Standard German inflection, yet in dialects such as Alemannic it is often seen as an intruder. We challenge this view based on data from a written survey amongst speakers of Swiss German dialects. Our analysis of pluralised loanwords (e. g. Mango) and abbreviations (e. g. WG ‘flat share’) shows a strong effect of both speakers’ age and grammatical gender that points towards a progressive integration of the plural -s into the dialectal system.

Jak wiadomo, język niemiecki jest językiem pluricentrycznym z narodowymi odmianami/centrami, który w obrębie języka prawa różni się także ze względu na obowiązujące w różnych krajach niemieckojęzycznych różne systemy prawa. Austriacki kodeks cywilny (ABGB), uchwalony w roku 1811, jest prawie o cały wiek starszy od swego odpowiednika w RFN (BGB), który wszedł w życie w roku 1900. Ów dystans czasowy pociąga za sobą także różnice w zakresie języka obu kodeksów. Celem artykułu jest pokazanie cech wspólnych i różnic w obrębie kolokacji w niemieckim i austriackim kodeksie cywilnym, które dotąd prawie całkowicie pozostawały poza obszarem badań.

The goal of this study is to analyze and compare aspects of language learning games in the context of Finnish and Hungarian high-school teaching of German as a foreign language (GFL). First, the practices of using games in GFL are investigated. Secondly, the subjective theories of teachers on language learning games are analyzed. Thirdly, the differences between the Finnish and Hungarian contexts are discussed.The data for this study was gathered with a written questionnaire (48 Finnish, 49 Hungarian GFL teachers) and through semi-standardized interviews (8 Finnish, 5 Hungarian GFL teachers). Po odzyskaniu niepodległości na terenie nowego państwa polskiego obowiązywało pięć różnych systemów prawa cywilnego. Problemem był jednak nie tylko brak jednolitego prawa, lecz także jednolitego języka. Poszczególne dzielnice utrzymywały, że zachowała się u nich najdoskonalsza odmiana polszczyzny. W artykule analizie poddane zostały tłumaczenia kolokacji w urzędowych przekładach niemieckiego prawa rodzinnego, obowiązującego na zachodzie II Rzeczypospolitej celem zbadania, czy miały one wpływ na język współczesny. Dla porównania przeanalizowano także inne systemy prawa rodzinnego obowiązujące w Polsce okresu międzywojennego.
